Welcome to Sandhills Signature. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of sandhillssignature.com (the "Site") and your purchase of any products from us. By placing an order or using this Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or place an order.

1. About Us

Sandhills Signature is a small business based in Sanford, North Carolina, offering custom laser-engraved and personalized gifts, awards, and decor, including glassware, signs, golf items, wedding and baby gifts, real estate closing gifts, and sports/team merchandise.

2. Custom & Personalized Orders

Most of our products are made to order based on the personalization details, names, dates, logos, or other information you provide at checkout or in a custom order request.

  • Your responsibility: It is your responsibility to carefully review all names, spellings, dates, and other personalization details before submitting your order. Once production begins, we may be unable to make changes.
  • Proofs: For larger or more complex custom/bulk orders, we may provide a digital proof for your approval before production. Approved proofs are considered final.
  • Production time: Because items are custom-made, please allow our stated production time (in addition to shipping time) before your order ships. Production times may be longer during peak seasons (holidays, wedding season, graduation, etc.).

3. Orders & Payment

  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability of materials.
  • Payment is due in full at the time of order unless other arrangements (such as a deposit for large bulk/unit orders) have been agreed to in writing.
  • We accept the payment methods listed at checkout. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or an inability to source materials.

4. Cancellations & Changes

Because most items go into production quickly, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change an order. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but once an item has entered production, cancellations or changes may not be possible and the order may not be eligible for a refund.

5. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Due to the personalized nature of our products, all sales of custom/personalized items are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds for buyer's remorse, incorrect personalization details submitted by the customer, or change of mind.

We want you to love what you receive. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or significantly different from what you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging, and we will work with you on a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate.

6. Shipping & Local Pickup

  • Local pickup is available in Sanford, NC and surrounding Sandhills communities for customers who select this option at checkout. Pickup details will be provided after your order is ready.
  • Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon our delivery to the shipping carrier.
  • At this time, we are not offering shipping but will revise if it is added in the future.

7. Bulk & Business (B2B) Orders

For unit orders, business branding orders, or bulk requests (e.g., restaurants, bars, military units, schools, organizations), a separate quote, minimum order quantity, deposit, and timeline may apply and will be confirmed with you directly before production begins. These Terms still apply to those orders except where a signed quote or invoice states otherwise.

8. Product Representation

We do our best to accurately represent our products through photos and descriptions. Slight variations in wood grain, glass, color, and engraving depth are natural characteristics of handcrafted items and are not considered defects. 9. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including logos, photos, product designs, and text — is the property of Sandhills Signature and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written permission.

By submitting a design, logo, or artwork for us to use in your custom order, you confirm that you own the rights to it or have permission to use it, and you grant us permission to reproduce it solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sandhills Signature is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or your purchase of products. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent changes. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
